Abstract

Das RKI konnte einen bundesweiten S. Infantis-Ausbruch verursacht durch kontaminiertes Cashewmus Himbeere unter Säuglingen und Kleinkindern aufdecken. Bisher zählte das RKI in Deutschland insgesamt 85 Erkrankungsfälle. Ein Großteil erkrankte so schwer, dass sie im Krankenhaus behandelt werden mussten. Das verdächtige Cashewmus Himbeere wurde öffentlich zurückgerufen und Verbraucher wurden vor einem Verzehr des Produktes gewarnt.
