Research Question: How have long-term incidence trends of head and neck cancer types associated with different risk factors evolved in Germany? This study examines incidence trends of HPV-associated head and neck cancers—particularly oropharyngeal—from 1999 to 2023. These will be compared to trends in cancers mainly associated with tobacco consumption, including oral cavity and laryngeal cancers. The data will be stratified by age group, sex, and federal state.eng
