Treatment characteristics and associated outcomes of patients with neuroendocrine carcinomas in Germany

Abstract

Neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs) are a rare and highly aggressive subgroup of high-grade neuroendocrine neoplasms. Treatment guidelines and recommendations are varied around the world and evidence on patient outcomes is lacking in EU countries. This study aims to describe treatment patterns and associated outcomes of patients diagnosed with NECs in Germany.
